Experience. Barry Kreisler has more than 35 years legal and business experience, having served as partner in several law firms, as vice president of and legal counsel to the multi-billion dollar investment advisor of a group of publicly held mutual funds and as president and CEO of a
mid size Chicago real estate brokerage, management and development company. A highly experienced real estate developer, Kreisler has himself developed and supervised the legal work regarding acquisition, development and sale of shopping centers, office buildings, mixed use buildings and literally thousands of condominium units. Kreisler has also served on a number of Condominium Association Boards of Managers and spent more than ten years as president of a forty unit Condominium Association. Because of his widely varied experience, varied experience, Kreisler brings a highly practical and pragmatic point of view to legal representation, having acted both as client and attorney in many complex business and real estate transactions. Kreisler is highly sensitive to the myriad of complex issues and pressures and the practical concerns clients are facing, while being extremely proficient in handling the legal technicalities of complex transactions.
Education. Kreisler earned a degree in accounting from Northwestern University School of Management. After qualifying as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), he attended the University of Chicago College of Law And Graduate School of Business where he received a Juris Doctor degree in Law and a Masters of Business Administration, with a concentration in Investment

Barry Kreisler is licensed to practice in Illinois and has been admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the Seventh Circuit United States Court of Appeals as well as before the Supreme Court of the United States.

Experience. Melanie Pennycuff has many years of experience in both state and federal litigation. Currently, her practice is dedicated to the areas of bankruptcy, consumer protection law and appellate practice.
Throughout her legal career, Pennycuff has represented both individuals and
multi-national corporations in a variety of matters. Whether an individual
or a large company, all clients receive her full and concentrated attention to their
unique legal issues.
Education. Pennycuff graduated magna cum laude from Franklin College with a B.S. in psychology. She went on to graduate with honors from Indiana University School of Law –
Indianapolis where she also had the honor of serving on the Board of Editors for the Indiana Law Review.
Melanie Pennycuff is licensed to practice in Indiana and has been admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana as well as for the Northern District of Illinois. She is also admitted to practice before the Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
